CAST Support for your Bid Documents

Architects and Designers are tasked to provide comprehensive plans and documents that detail every aspect of the Lighting Project. CAST Lighting provides the following resources to support this process.

CAST detail drawings are illustrated to show each luminaire, transformer and wiring scenario. These drawings show products 'As Installed' and include dimensions and installation specifications. Plan symbols (DWG format are also available.)

These drawings can be accessed on the "Specifications" page as well as in the "Specifications" tab on product pages.

Specification Sheets

All CAST luminaires, transformers and wire have specification sheets detailing product materials and contruction, electrical requirements, dimensions and weight.

Photometric Data

All CAST luminaires have undergone testing based on LM-46 and other pertinent IESNA procedures. Isofootcandle charts, cone charts and IES files are available for all luminaires.

Additional drawings and renderings that illustrate various landscape lighting scenarios are also available.

Performance Specifications

Architects and Designers sometimes find their specified lighting plans compromised by project managers or purchasers. This can result when specifications are too broad or non-specific.

For this reason, CAST Lighting provides a sample performance specification - this specification goes beyond a traditional product spec and plan. It specifies contractor requirements, installation procedures, operating parameters, product material composition and construction and adherence to electrical standards.

Images

High quality images of CAST products (installed and solo) are freely available. These are available is various sizes and formats including images suitable for light rendering programs. Hundreds of fine-art quality lighting project photos are also available.
