Dear Friend,

Greetings from CAST Lighting. As we move into the fourth quarter of 2009, we continue to see growth in the economy and increased consumer confidence. This is reflected in an upsurge in landscape lighting sales - a trend we expect to continue.

While many manufacturers scaled back, CAST Lighting launched an ambitious gearing up. Our new foundry in Columbia is fully operational and we have a generous helping of news to share.

As always, we thank you for your ongoing business and pledge to support you in whatever ways we can.

Best wishes,
The Staff of CAST Lighting

White Paper - "Green Energy and CAST Lighting"
CAST Solid Bronze Savannah Path LightCAST Lighting, from its inception, established rigorous 'green' standards for its fixtures, lamps, transformers and other system components. Installation methods were also developed with the same intent.

Since we are often asked to provide information on how our products and installation methods fit in with Green Energy Programs, we compiled the data in a comprehensive white paper. The document discusses energy efficiency, dark sky concerns and sustainability issues in the context of LEED and other governmental incentive programs.

New CAST Foundry

CAST Lighting's new foundry, located in Barranquilla, Columbia, is a state-of-the-art facility that combines high-tech induction furnaces and semi-automated assembly lines with workers trained in the fine art of bronze sand-casting.

The opening of the new foundry coincides with the closing of CAST's former foundry in Venezuela. With more than 4 times the capacity of the previous facility, this new foundry greatly expands production capacity.

Capture Page One Ranking in Google
If you have a website and don't show up on Google's page one search results then don't expect your customers to ever find your site. Only about 20% of people go beyond page one when searching for a product or service.

There is, however, hope for the small business. Google has a number of cost-free services that almost immediately put you at the top of the page. These services are found in the Google Local Business Center.
